1. Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Rights)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, customers have the right to cancel eligible online orders within 14 days from the day after receiving the goods.
To exercise your cancellation rights, you must notify us in writing by email at info@aviatorfurniture.com.
After notifying us of cancellation, items must be returned within 14 days.
Nothing in this Returns Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
2. Our 30-Day Returns Policy
In addition to your statutory cancellation rights, Aviator Furniture offers a 30-day returns period for eligible items from the date of delivery.
All returns are subject to approval and compliance with the conditions outlined in this policy.
Customers must contact us before returning any item so that return arrangements can be reviewed and authorised.
3. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must:
- Be unused and in their original condition
- Be returned with original packaging where reasonably possible
- Not be assembled, installed, altered, or modified
- Be returned in a condition suitable for resale
We reserve the right to refuse returns or apply deductions where returned goods show signs of use, damage, improper handling, missing parts, or unsuitable packaging beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are non-returnable unless faulty, damaged, or not as described:
- Made-to-order furniture
- Bespoke or customised products
- Special order items
- Personalised products
Customers are encouraged to review dimensions, finishes, colours, and specifications carefully before placing orders for made-to-order items.
5. Large Furniture Returns
Due to the size and handling requirements of furniture products, all furniture returns must be arranged with our team in advance.
Customers are responsible for ensuring returned goods are securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
For large or heavy items, collection services may be arranged where available. Collection or re-delivery charges may apply depending on the item type, location, and return reason.
Standard delivery services are generally provided to the ground floor entrance only unless otherwise agreed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring suitable access for collection and delivery.
6. Return Shipping Costs
Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Original delivery charges, upgraded delivery services, room-of-choice delivery, assembly services, or special handling charges are generally non-refundable unless required by law.
We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured return service, as returned goods remain the customer's responsibility until safely received by us.
7. Refunds
Once returned goods are received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval or rejection of the refund.
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days after the returned goods have been received and inspected, or after proof of return has been provided where applicable.
Depending on your payment provider or bank, refund processing times may vary.
We reserve the right to make reasonable deductions from refunds where returned items are not received in their original condition due to unnecessary handling by the customer.
8. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at info@aviatorfurniture.com.
Visible delivery damage should ideally be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Customers may be asked to provide:
- Photographs of the item
- Photographs of the packaging
- Order information
- A description of the issue
Where an issue is confirmed, we may offer a repair, replacement, replacement parts, collection, partial refund, or full refund depending on the circumstances.
9. Exchanges
Exchanges are available only for items confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
Exchange availability may depend on stock levels, product availability, and delivery location.

10. Refused Deliveries and Failed Collections
If a delivery or arranged collection fails due to customer unavailability, refusal of delivery, restricted access, or incorrect address details, additional delivery, storage, or collection charges may apply.
Repeated failed delivery or collection attempts may result in the return being cancelled or additional fees being charged.
